Amazon launches two wearable devices that use artificial intelligence to record and analyze users' daily activities.

Amazon has launched two wearable devices that use artificial intelligence to record and analyze users' daily activities. This is the company's latest move, one year after acquiring the startup Bee, to reshape its product line and compete in the rapidly growing AI hardware market. On Thursday, Amazon released the Bee Frontier, priced at $75, an upgraded version of the original smart band that is lighter, smaller, and water-resistant. Like the older $50 model, the new device can record users' activities throughout the day and transcribe them into text, summarizing conversations and automatically generating to-do lists in the companion app. The product comes in three colors—lavender purple, sage green, and onyx black—offers up to seven days of battery life, and is now available for order in the United States. The second new product, the Bee Eclipse, is similar to a device launched by competitor Plaud, featuring a card-style design that can be magnetically attached to the back of a phone or carried on the go.
