CICC: The Fed's rate hikes are not over, but there is no need to rush to act.

According to a report from Bijie Network, a research report by CICC points out that the Federal Reserve kept rates unchanged at its October meeting. Policymakers maintained a firm stance against inflation, but also believed that policy could remain patient. Some hawkish officials shifted to a wait-and-see approach, indicating that the urgency for consecutive rate hikes has diminished. Since the September rate hike, U.S. financial conditions have tightened marginally, and the inflation premium has somewhat retreated, allowing the Fed to wait for the effects of its policy to further materialize. Looking ahead, one more rate hike is expected in December, followed by continued wait-and-see. This rate-hiking cycle is more likely to be a mild, gradual adjustment rather than aggressive tightening. In addition, Warsh announced that starting next year the frequency of interest rate votes will be reduced, with some meetings dedicated specifically to discussing long-term monetary policy strategy, which is a continuation of his efforts to promote reform of the Fed's policy framework since taking office. For the market, the risk of the Fed tightening more than expected in the short term has somewhat declined, while in the medium term it will still maintain a relatively tight monetary stance.

Anthropic's IPO filing mentions competitors, with Meta not on the list.

Coin World news, Yahoo Finance reports that Anthropic listed its competitors in its IPO filing, but Meta, despite launching its new AI agent Muse, was not included. The filing warned that sales, marketing, and distribution may matter more than model quality, and these are precisely the areas where Google and Apple already hold an advantage, as they handle users' wallets, calendars, and emails, while Meta does not.
